I spent the summer of 2021 in Seoul with the National Security Language Initiative for Youth. NSLI-Y is a State Department program focused on encouraging American high schoolers to learn critical languages through providing immersion and study abroad opportunities
7am-8am: Wake up and get ready for class
8am-9am: Take subway to Hanyang University
9am-1pm: Level 2 Korean classes at Hanyang
1pm-2pm: Find lunch with friends
2pm-6pm: Meet with Korean supporter group
6pm-7pm: Take subway home
7pm-8pm: Homework and 예습 (prestudy) for tomorrow's class
8pm-9pm: Dinner with host mom
9pm-11pm: Finish homework and hang out with host family
